tm associates Ultrasonic Tanks are constructed of 316-L stainless steel with the tank having an outer shell of 304 stainless steel. All tanks are provided with a ¾” drain port and ball valve. The solid state generator houses all controls and can be remote mounted up to 4’ ft. from the tank. Generators are modular in design and may be used interchangeably. A thermostatic controlled heater provides heat to aid in cleaning.    Tanks are designed to sit on table tops or be flush  mounted in a table top or console.

The higher the frequency the more evenly the cleaning power is distributed throughout the tank. Higher frequencies have smaller Cavitation bubbles and are more gentle on the part being cleaned. The choice of frequency is dependent on the oils to be removed and also the part material.

Your choice of frequencies is controlled by what you wish to accomplish. A high frequencies is better for optics, electronics, and computer cleaning, lower frequencies are more suited for removing heavy dirt and oils. There are times when a combination of 2 or more frequencies are used either in separate tanks or in the same tank to provide more cleaning power. Our units are equipped with sweep frequency to eliminate standing waves.

Tm associates can provide the correct frequency for you’re cleaning applications. Whether you are cleaning thick heavy dirt or cleaning precision optics we have the knowledge and capability to build a system to suit your requirements.

Selectable Dual Frequency operation is available in 40 / 170 , 40/68 or 68 170 kHz configuration. The operator can choose the correct frequency for the application by selecting it on the generator control panel. Custom sizes and configurations, work fixtures and beaker holders are also available.

The BT-60D Ultrasonic Cleaning System combines both heated ultrasonic cleaning and Ultrasonic overflow rinsing in the same tank. The tank is divided into two compartments each with its own independent drain. The rinse compartment has an additional overflow and fill port. All ports are 3/4".

The Ultrasonics Operate Simultaneously in both compartments. A power intensity control and sweep frequency control allows full adjustment of cleaning parameters. Both compartments are heated, each side having 500 watts of thermostatically controlled Heat.  A needle valve in the rinse compartment allows you to set the overflow rate.

The BT-60D is a complete cleaning system in one Ultrasonic Tank. The system may be used as a table top system or flush mounted in a cart. An additional spray rinse tank is available for the cart mounted version. With the addition of the cart and the spray rinse tank the BT-60D system is a complete mini console that has exactly the same cleaning capabilities as any production system.

The BT-60 System is ideal for pre-production cleaning and Laboratory Cleaning. Since the BT-60-D has the same ultrasonics and heat capabilities as production systems there is no difficulty in transferring the cleaning process to production. The BT 60-D may be used on a table top or flush mounted in a console.

Each BT-60D system is a dual frequency ultrasonic system. The operator can choose between 2 independent frequencies. With the addition of a 2nd  Generator, The system can be run at all three frequencies, simply by switching the generator or a toggle switch. The BT-D series tanks are available in the following sizes.

Our Ultra Clean series are designed for maximum shedding of particulates. The coved inner surfaces of the tank along with the electro-polished interior inhibit the retention of particles. All our Ultra Clean tanks include a built in overflow at the rear of the tank. There are ports provided for fill, drain, sensors and re-circulation as well as for a 3/4" thermocouple well for direct reading of interior solution temperature. Temperature control can be either digital or thermostatic. The tanks are designed to stand alone or flush mount in a console.

The choice of frequencies is determined by your particular process requirements. A high  frequency is a better choice for delicate parts that require ultra fine particulate removal,  the higher frequency distributes the ultrasonic energy more evenly and creates smaller  cavities therefore it is able to remove smaller particulates. Lower frequencies are better  for removing heavy oils, fingerprints and large particulates.

There are applications where A choice of Ultrasonic frequencies are available at  40 /68 /170 kHz . Up to 2 frequencies can be installed on the same tank. A separate generator  is supplied so that each frequency can be either simultaneously or independently activated. Custom versions with up to 4 overflows are available. Each tank is designed to be used either  as a detergent ultrasonic tank or an ultrasonic overflow rinse tank.
